The in-between.
When I’m asked what’s my favorite part of traveling - along with the process of exploration, this is it. Moving so fast that everything becomes incredibly still. The world blurring and slowing down. A quiet hum that lures you into your own head and grounds you all at once.
They say.
Certain people often tell others not to go into the arts. It won’t make you a lot of money, they say. It’s not stable enough, you should be a doctor, an engineer, a lawyer, they say. Something “sure”. Something “safe”. Creativity won’t make you money, they say. Yet they walk around idly consuming films and shows, eating food, listening to music, reading books, and enjoying things created and made by artists. Without realizing that the only things giving them joy and life in that moment - is art itself.

of trying to be the lady
they want us all to be
